          Dear Campus Community,

The Anderson University copyright website is an educational tool designed to help our faculty, staff, and students understand federal copyright laws, and, further, exercise the “fair use” rights available to them in our academic setting.

In addition, this website is designed as a source of information on local campus policies and regulations regarding the use of copyrighted materials under University jurisdiction. It contains links to web pages from The United States Copyright Office and major universities offering expertise in the area of intellectual property law.

Anderson University is committed to helping members of our campus community make ethical, legal decisions concerning the use of works created by other individuals by providing information through this website, in our classrooms and through other educational opportunities on our campus.

Information contained on this website should be used strictly for educational purposes and not be construed as legal advice.
